There Are Many Ways to Make A Gift!
Gifts of Cash
The simplest way to give, cash gifts may be made online or by mailing a check to the address below. You may choose to make a one-time gift or to set a recurring monthly donation.
Please send checks to: Temple De Hirsch Sinai, 1511 E. Pike St., Seattle, WA 98122
Corporate Matching
Many companies will match contributions made by their employees, enabling you to leverage your generosity by doubling or even tripling the impact of your gift. Check with your employer to see if they have a formal or informal matching program. Because Temple is a religious institution, some companies may qualify the specific funds you may contribute to at Temple to be eligible for a match. Learn more here.
Donor-Advised Funds (DAF) and Family Foundations
DAFs are the fastest-growing giving method and a tax-efficient way to manage charitable donations. Donor Advised Funds allow donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time.
Temple De Hirsch Sinai is proud to partner with several of the United States’ largest Donor Advised Fund sponsor organizations.
If you are a DAF holder at Fidelity Charitable, DAFgiving360™ (formerly Schwab Charitable), or BNY Mellon, you can easily make a designation through the DAFDirect window on this page.
Temple also welcomes grants from family and community foundations. Please note: grants from DAFs or foundations will not appear on a tax statement from Temple.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Another approach to supporting our community that many people find meaningful is underwriting a specific experience or event. The sponsorship may be tied to celebrating a lifecycle event or it may be linked to values that are especially important to you.
