Fain Award for Social Justice, 2015
In 2015, Temple was the proud recipient of the Religious Action Center Irving J. Fain Award for our Campaign for Gun Responsibility. We are honored to have had our efforts recognized by the Union for Reform Judaism Commission on Social Action. Through education, advocacy, and fundraising, Temple supported passage of Initiative 594 for universal background checks, a milestone accomplishment in Washington State.
URJ’s Epstein Award, 2013
In 2013, Temple received the URJ’s Epstein Award for communication for our membership video, as well as the Belin Award in honor of our outreach and membership program for young families, then named the “Kiddush Club.”
