Our Program Offerings
Full-Time and Part-Time Care
Families can choose the care schedule that fits their lives best—whether that’s just a few days a week or full-time support.
Our program supports children from infancy through preschool, allowing them to grow within a consistent, values-driven environment as families build lasting relationships within the JRM and Temple community. Learn more.
Full-Time Care: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Part-Time Care: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Lunch is now served daily for enrolled children.
Temple membership is offered at no additional cost to families enrolled in full-time care. This is provided until the oldest child in a family ages out of JRM. At that time, we work with each family to discuss Temple membership and elementary-age programming through the Bridge Family Religion School.

Community Tot Shabbat
We warmly invite families with young children to join TDHS Musical Director Josh Niehaus and JRM every Friday at 9:30 AM for Tot Shabbat, a joyful way to connect with Jewish tradition and the Temple community.
On the first Friday of each month, arrive a little earlier at 9:00 AM for bagels and coffee before Tot Shabbat begins.
Please note: Tot Shabbat does not meet during holidays or scheduled closures.

Our experienced teachers support curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving through a broad curriculum that includes STEM, art, music, movement, and more—both indoors and in our beautiful wooded outdoor spaces.
Do you offer kindergarten preparation?
Yes. Our child-centered, developmentally appropriate curriculum helps children build confidence, critical thinking, and a love of learning. We use Teaching Strategies Gold, aligned with Washington State kindergarten readiness standards, to support each child’s growth.
What are your program days and times?
- Full-time care: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM-5:30 PM
- Part-time care: Tuesday through Friday, 9 AM-12:30 PM
- We welcome infants as young as 3 months to children 5 years old.
Is my child safe and well cared for?
We have a secure campus that features gated entry, security cameras, and a security guard. Teachers are STARS certified, experienced, and receive ongoing training in child development and safety. We have a wonderful team of teachers who are dedicated to nurturing your child!
What is your teaching style?
We celebrate each child’s individuality and tailor our curriculum to meet their unique learning pace. Our teaching blends proven educational approaches and emphasizes whole-child development—mind, body, and spirit. Regular updates and open communication keep you involved every step of the way.
How is Judaism part of the classroom experience?
Judaism is naturally woven into our daily life. Children celebrate Shabbat, learn Jewish values like kavod (respect) and tikkun olam (repairing the world), explore blessings, and engage with our rabbis. Families are invited to join our monthly Tot Shabbat.
Being Jewish is not a requirement for enrolling children at JRM. We welcome families of all backgrounds and support parents with varying levels of Jewish knowledge.
Do you have outdoor play spaces?
We have a fully fenced play area surrounded by woodlands, with open spaces for running and exploring in all weather. Children go outside twice daily unless we are experiencing extreme weather (wind, high heat, smoke). When we’re indoors, children enjoy large spaces to develop gross and fine motor skills.
How do you partner with parents?
We view early education as a partnership. Teachers work closely with families through daily updates, annual conferences, and the Remini app for sharing photos and progress. Your input helps shape your child’s preschool journey.
