shabbat b’Bayit

We welcome you and your family to Shabbat b’Bayit, Shabbat in your home.

Shabbat is a time for family, friends, rest, and contemplation. Join us at services or celebrate at home.

As Friday evening approaches and we wind down the week, we look forward to celebrating Shabbat together. For those who want or need to celebrate Shabbat at home, we are happy to provide guidance and resources for Shabbat B’bayit.

If your children are young, this is a wonderful time to begin establishing your family’s Shabbat traditions. Will you cook a special meal or bake challah together? Have the children help set the Shabbat table? For those who want to celebrate with family far away, set your laptop right on the dining room table so you can all participate in the blessings.

Before you start, queue up this week’s Torah portion and follow along in this virtual Siddur, if you don’t have a print copy handy. You can also stream Temple’s weekly services.

We recommend you use one device to view the live stream and another to view our siddur, Mishkan T’filah. We’ve found it works best in full screen mode, and is easiest to navigate by manually entering the page number. Our rabbis will let you know which page they are on, so you can follow along.
