Intro to Judaism

Intro to Judaism is designed for adult learners seeking to deepen their understanding of Judaism—including those considering conversion, individuals partnered with Jews or part of Jewish families, and Jews looking to strengthen their foundational knowledge.
Temple offers a 16-session Intro to Judaism course twice a year in a hybrid format. In the fall, the in-person option is held with the instructor at our Bellevue Campus, and in the spring, the in-person option is held with the instructor at our Seattle Campus.
We also participate in a regional, all-virtual, 9-month-long, Washington State Coalition of Rabbis (WCR) Intro to Judaism course.
TDHS 16-Week Class Hybrid Course

Join us in person or online to build a foundational understanding of Judaism, exploring topics such as history, theology, holidays, and prayer.

Tuition for the 16-week course is $225 for the general community and $180 for members of URJ congregations. The fee covers one or two participants—we encourage couples to attend together or singles to invite a friend.
