Cemetery & Mausoleum

Hills of Eternity Cemetery
520 W Raye St, Seattle, WA 98119

Owned and operated by Temple, Hills of Eternity Cemetery and Home of Peace Mausoleum are located on Queen Anne Hill.

We are thankful to be able to offer peaceful, dignified, and well-cared-for final resting places to generations of our congregation’s families.

Temple does not run a funeral home. Many Temple members use Butterworth / Arthur A. Wright Chapel, which is located next door to the cemetery. They understand and honor our Jewish traditions. Their number is (206) 282-5500. Or you may use any funeral home of your choice.

Temple staff oversee the cemetery and sell plots and/or mausoleum placements. The cemetery and mausoleum are for Temple members only (except for rare exceptions).

Arranging an unveiling

Unveilings are typically held one year from the date of death. Please call Jennifer Phillips, Temple’s Executive Assistant to the Clergy, at (206) 693-3047 to schedule an unveiling and to request a rabbi. If you arrange an unveiling on your own, please still advise Temple as to when it will be held.

Restrooms

There are two restrooms available for visitors: one in the Queen Anne Columbarium, which is open 9:00 am–4:00 pm daily, and one in the Butterworth/Arthur A. Wright Chapel, which is open 8:30 am–4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
