Awards

In 2015, Temple was the proud recipient of the Fain Award for social justice for its advocacy of gun safety. We are honored to have had our efforts recognized by the Union for Reform Judaism Commission on Social Action through receipt of the 2015 Religious Action Center Irving J. Fain Award for our Campaign for Gun Responsibility. Through education, advocacy, and fundraising, Temple supported passage of Initiative 594 for universal background checks, a milestone accomplishment in Washington State.

In 2013, Temple received the URJ’s Epstein Award for communication for our membership video as well as the Belin award in honor of their outreach and membership program for young families, then named the “Kiddush Club.”
