Position: Relationship Manager

Summary:

Temple De Hirsch Sinai is looking for Relationship Managers to help identify, develop and foster connections and relationships with new and existing congregants. We are looking for at least two individuals who have exceptional communication skills, love people and love to connect people — with each other, with volunteer projects and with programs and events. These individuals would work directly with our Executive Director and are considered part of our Development and Membership teams. If you are enthusiastic, friendly, high energy and love to connect people with Jewish life, this is the job for you.

These are new positions and come at an exciting time of growth for Temple, as our membership is burgeoning; family education and social programs are growing; we are crafting new programs for empty-nesters; and we continue to serve a vibrant congregation from birth to end of life.

We anticipate hiring two full-time staff and are open to interviewing exceptional candidates for part-time as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet prospective new members, answer questions and connect them at Temple; get to know our existing members to better serve their needs.
    • You’ll help to connect prospective and existing members to our clergy and staff; lay leaders or other congregants
    • You will also help connect prospective members to volunteer opportunities and to programs
  • Relationships are a two-way street, so you will help clergy and staff stay abreast of our members’ needs by acting as a conduit for information.
  • Represent Temple in the community at public events.
  • Bring people together by fostering new relationships across the congregation.
